Ivory Wedding Shoes – 5 Top Styles for 2009 |
 |
|
Making a huge hit this 2009, the classic and feminine Ivory Wedding Shoes are a must have for any would-be bride this year.
While there are
Ivory wedding shoes and other hard to let go designs emerging these days, there are also other significant factors you should consider in buying bridal shoes, such as comfort. You have absolutely found your perfect match once you discover a pair of wedding shoes that can incorporate superb style with optimum comfort.
To help you find the right style for your wedding shoes, here are the different styles you should look out for:
Halter back – Closely similar to sling back, halter back wedding shoes have a strap securing the back part of the foot. Often high-heeled, it also comes in any height and may have open toes or a fully closed front.
Sling back – Instead of having a full, closed back, a sling back wedding shoes have straps that attach from the sides or the vamp of the shoes, and they wrap around the back of the ankle. Sling back can be open or closed toes; it can also be casual or formal. The back strap makes it a sling back.
Wedge – On the majority of shoes, the “heel” sits only below the heel of the foot, whereas a wedge heel runs under the foot, from the back of the shoe to the center or front. It has a rather triangular, wedge contour; however, not all wedges are high heels. Wedge wedding shoes have heels that can vary from low to high; it’s the shape and the length of the heel that categorize it as a wedge.
Pump – Almost a standard term for shoes, pump wedding shoes are either flat or heeled shoes with low cut fronts and usually no fastening and lightweight. Dubbed as “pump,” this style somewhat resemble in overall shape to the handles of the traditional manual well pumps.
Peep toe – Also known as “Peep-toed shoes,” “Peek-a-boo shoes,” and “Peek-a-boo toes,” peep toe wedding shoes have an opening at the end that shows part of the toes, but not the entire toe line, as other open-toed shoes do. Normally, the opening of a peep toe shoe is a wedge or rounded shape that shows only some parts of the toes.
It’s always highly recommendable to fit various styles of
wedding shoes to guarantee that they will be suitable and comfortable to wear during your big day and so that you can walk down the aisle in total confidence and convenience. Try them all on and see which one of them wins your footsies.
